I was born into a family where brass instruments ruled the house.

Love that for them.

When you live with a farmer, a toddler, and 400 unpredictable weather-based variables, you learn very quickly that looking away is sometimes an act of self-love.

When I pictured life in the countryside, I imagined open skies, peaceful mornings, and maybe the odd cow grazing in a field. What I didn’t picture?  The spiders.

I never thought I’d start a blog — let alone one about living on a farm. Then again, neither was falling for a farmer, raising a toddler surrounded by tractors, or learning the difference between silage and slurry…
